To start the ball rolling, I recently went to a local gig with a line up of four bands. There's nothing much to say about three of them (all lacked a certain attitude) but the shining light was "Isoceles". Lots of edge to this triangular-referenced band, although they are a four piece set!! Their music had a huge amount of rockability in their own unique style. A particular favourite track was "Kitch Bitch" which is their new single, out in April on the Leeds label "art/goes/pop". A must have for all true music lovers. This Glaswegian band are to be noted; as success could follow very soon, especially after a great tour supporting Franz Ferdinand.
If they are in your area they are a definite must to see.

Only one's I've got uncoming are Mystery Jets and Tokyo Police Club, maybe also gonna see Black Kids if I can make it.

Saw the Mystery Jets last Saturday, piss poor, really bad. Support acts were pants as well, the Little Comets I think they were called.
